The Education Committee & Executive Board have made some important changes to the certification renewal requirements & process.

Change 1 - Course 201: While we will still be offering course 201 ("What's new in municipal law" virtually each year, it is no longer required for renewals. We encourage everyone to participate in 201 for the valuable information offered.
This means: a Certified Individual must attend the Cape Conference OR annual school for at least 3 years during the 5 year renewal period, and must take ANY 4 courses of your choice during each of those 3 years. 

Change 2 - Renewal Applications will no longer be required. If a member meets all certification renewal requirements, their certification will automatically renew. It is the member's responsibility to track their courses/ensure they are meeting requirements for renewal.

This program is meant to create a structured and supportive relationship between an experienced Treasurer/Collector (mentor) and a newer Treasurer/Collector (mentee). This program aims to facilitate professional growth by offering guidance, knowledge, and valuable insights. Mentors share their expertise, provide advice, and help mentees navigate their roles.
